We shoot, produce, and edit the video in keeping with our style of quality and craft using our own creative vision and interpretation of the vibe the wedding day.  

Treelite Films shooting and editing style is unique. The client acknowledges that our style will not be altered to match the style of another shooting or editing style. 

The complimentary 1 minute teaser included in base packages will be delivered in approximately 2-3 weeks after the wedding date.

The 7 minute video in base packages will be delivered in approximately 1 - 2 months after the wedding date.

The Works Full Coverage Package and the Full Length Reception and the Reception Formalities add-on video will be delivered in approximately 2-3 months after the wedding date. 

Using copyrighted music may be illegal. Social media and video hosting companies many block copyrighted music. Therefore, music used within videos will be a song or songs selected by Treelite Films. 

Style | We blend two styles of wedding videography: Cinematic Videography (Like a movie with with shorter clips with movement) and Documentary (Static, capturing events as they naturally occur).

Key Terms

Base Package: Base Packages include a highlight film from your day. They do not include full ceremony and reception edits, which are professionally produced videos created by combining footage from multiple cameras, synced with audio, and enhanced with music, transitions, titles, and storytelling elements. Full ceremony and reception edits can be added on separately to Base Packages or are included with The Works Videography Package. Please note that we would need to know prior to the wedding day, if you would like to add a Full Ceremony and/or Reception Formality video to a Base Package, as this will alter the methodology and strategies used to capture the ceremony and reception formalities.

Important: If The Works Videography Package, Full Ceremony, or Reception Formality video is not ordered prior to the wedding date, the ceremony and reception formalities may not be recorded in their entirety, as the Base Package is designed to capture event highlights rather than full-length coverage.

Polished Raw Footage: We shoot in high resolution, professional file types. These files will not be able to be opened on home computers and laptops that do not have professional video editing software. For this reason, we create a video edit of the files and process one large, general use file for viewing. The footage will be clipped together into one long video. Think home video style.

Important - The professionally recorded audio will not be applied to the raw footage.

Audio: Professional audio recording is included in each of our videography packages aside from the Heck Yeah! Candid Wedding Videography package. Only The Works Full Coverage Videography Package and Base Packages that have Full Ceremony and Reception Formalities add-ons will receive a video in which the professional audio has been fully applied to the related footage. For Base Packages, the professionally recorded audio may only briefly be used within the 7 minutes video included in the package.

Full Ceremony and Reception Formalities | Add-ons to Base Packages

Full Ceremony and Full Reception Formality cuts are included in the Works Full Coverage Videography Package, but they can be added to Base Packages. Please note that we would need to know prior to the wedding day, if you would like to add Full Ceremony and/or Reception Formality footage added to a base package, as this will alter the methodology and strategies used to capture a combination of documentary and cinematic style that enables us to encapsulates the entire ceremony. In addition to the 7 minute video included in the package, there will be a second video that is approximately 30 to 60 minutes in length (depending on the length of the ceremony and reception events) that features the entire ceremony and all formalities of the reception from start to finish with the professional audio recording applied.

Oh, Heck Yeah! Candid Wedding Videography (OHY)

OHY Videography: The day will be captured in a documentary style (fly-on-the-wall only, allowing moments to occur naturally).Camera movements similar in style to a movie or music video will not occur. This is not cinematic style videography. Scenes will not be directed by the videographer. Think home video vibes.

OHY Raw/Uncut Footage: Raw/uncut footage is included in the OHY package. It is delivered on a solid state external drive. The raw/uncut footage will include an array of longer documentary style footage and some shoot clips,

OHY Videography Audio: Audio will be from in camera audio recording.
